We are partnering with an industrial technology consultancy focused on delivering cutting‑edge IoT and smart manufacturing solutions across automotive, manufacturing, and smart infrastructure environments. This team specializes in designing, implementing, and optimizing connected factory and Industry 4.0 ecosystems. We are seeking an experienced Industry 4.0 Engineer with strong Ignition expertise to lead the design and deployment of smart manufacturing solutions across enterprise‑scale environments.

The Role As an Industry 4.0 Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing connected factory systems. You will work at the intersection of OT and IT, integrating IoT platforms, automation systems, data analytics, and cloud technologies to drive measurable operational improvements. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in client‑facing environments, enjoys solving complex industrial challenges, and is passionate about digital transformation within manufacturing.

What You’ll Be Doing: Design and implement Industry 4.0 architectures including IoT devices, automation systems, SCADA platforms, and digital twin solutions Develop and deploy real‑time data analytics platforms to enable predictive maintenance and performance optimization Architect and configure Ignition‑based solutions within connected factory environments Analyze current manufacturing workflows and recommend technology‑driven improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste Collaborate cross‑functionally with AI, IT, operations, and engineering teams to align technical initiatives with business goals Support hybrid cloud and IIoT deployments including MQTT and device orchestration strategies Provide training and technical guidance to operational teams to ensure smooth system adoption Stay current on emerging Industry 4.0 trends and technologies Required Qualifications: 4+ years minimum experience within Industry 4.0 or Manufacturing environments specifically with Ignition engineering Hands‑on experience delivering Connected Factory or Industry 4.0 solutions Inductive Automation Ignition Certification (active or past) US Citizen or Green Card holder Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline Additional Qualifications: Strong client‑facing communication skills with the ability to build credibility across multiple organizational levels Experience with IIoT architectures including Hybrid Cloud, MQTT, and device orchestration Strong database experience including schema design, complex queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers Working knowledge of PLC logic and programming Why You Would Be Interested: Opportunity to work across advanced manufacturing and automotive environments Direct impact on modernizing smart factory ecosystems Collaborative, innovation‑focused technical teams #J-18808-Ljbffr
