IDAM Engineer

Contract: IDAM Engineer (Identity & Access Management) Location: Remote (occasional travel to client sites) Rate: £450-500 per day (Outside IR35) Clearance: Eligible for SC clearance (essential) Experience: Public sector experience required Overview We’re supporting a leading consultancy delivering into a public sector client undergoing a major technology and cyber transformation. They are looking for an experienced IDAM Engineer to help design and implement secure identity and access solutions across a modernising digital environment. Key Responsibilities Design and implement identity and access management solutions Support authentication, authorisation, and access control mechanisms Contribute to the delivery of secure access across applications and services Work alongside security, platform, and DevOps teams Support identity-related integration across cloud and enterprise systems Ensure solutions align with security and compliance standards Contribute to ongoing improvements in identity strategy and capability Key Experience Required Strong experience within IDAM / IAM engineering roles Experience working within secure, regulated environments Understanding of modern authentication and access control approaches Experience in cloud or hybrid environments Ability to operate within complex enterprise ecosystems Proven public sector / government experience Desirable Experience Exposure to SSO, federation, or identity protocols Experience working on large-scale transformation programmes Familiarity with API / application access control patterns Why apply?
