Hydrology & Hydraulics Engineer (Dallas)

About the Role We’re looking for an experienced water resources engineer to lead hydrology and hydraulics projects and support team growth. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and client engagement in a consulting environment. What You’ll Do Lead H&H projects from planning through completion Perform and oversee modeling (HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS 1D/2D) Review technical reports, designs, and calculations Mentor and manage junior staff Present findings to clients and stakeholders Support business development and maintain client relationships Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies Requirements PE license BSc 8+ years in hydrology, hydraulics, or water resources (consulting preferred) Strong experience with HEC-HMS & HEC-RAS (1D/2D) Knowledge of stormwater, flood control, or watershed projects Leadership, project management, and communication skills This is a great opportunity to join a growing, employee-owned firm with a strong backlog of projects.
