We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least 5 years of professional field experience to join our team in Kannapolis, NC. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, extensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, and the ability to work independently while providing dependable, professional customer service.

Responsibilities

* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in existing HVAC systems and equipment * Perform preventive maintenance and service on HVAC and refrigeration systems * Troubleshoot heat pumps, gas furnaces, straight air-conditioning systems, boilers, and related components * Test electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant components to identify system issues * Use multimeters, manometers, manifold gauges, torches, and other HVAC diagnostic tools * Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment specifications * Clearly explain system issues and recommended repairs to customers * Complete service work efficiently and according to company quality and safety standards * Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and services performed * Collaborate with other technicians when completing larger or more complex projects * Deliver professional, courteous customer service at every appointment

Required Qualifications

* At least 5 years of professional experience as an HVAC Service Technician * Strong knowledge of heat pumps, gas furnaces, straight AC systems, and boilers * Proven ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment independently * Strong understanding of electrical wiring, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems * Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Strong communication and customer service skills * Valid driver’s license and clean driving record * Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications

* EPA Section 608 Certification * NATE Certification * Experience with HVAC system installation or design * Experience servicing both residential and commercial HVAC systems
