Job Title: Human Resource Manager Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States (Onsite) Type: Full time Our Client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead core HR operations in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment.This role is responsible for overseeing key HR functions including talent acquisition support, onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, uniform services, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end HR operations supporting a diverse workforce (seasonal, part-time, and full-time employees).
Oversee recruitment support, onboarding processes, orientation programs, and pre-employment activities. Manage employee relations, including workplace concerns, investigations, corrective actions, and policy guidance. Supervise HR administration, ensuring accuracy of employee records, HR systems, and compliance documentation.
Drive employee engagement through events, recognition programs, and internal communications. Partner with business leaders to provide guidance on staffing, performance management, and HR policies. Coach managers on employee conversations, documentation practices, and workplace conduct.
Monitor workforce trends (turnover, attendance, engagement) and recommend actionable improvements. Support payroll and timekeeping issue resolution in collaboration with relevant teams. Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and workplace standards.
Key Requirements Proven HR experience in high-volume or service-driven environments (hospitality, retail, entertainment, etc.). Prior leadership or supervisory experience within HR or people operations. Strong expertise in employee relations, investigations, and performance management.
Sound knowledge of employment laws and compliance practices. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HR systems/ATS/payroll tools preferred. Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, including weekends and peak periods.
