Senior HR Consultant — Amadora Gourmet Ice Cream Chennai | Growth-stage F&B / multi-location retail About us Amadora has been making India's finest artisanal ice cream since 2011 — real Alphonso mango, real cream, no premixes, made fresh in our own Chennai kitchen. We're around 30 stores across Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad on a franchise-led model, and we're in a serious growth phase: new franchise markets, a capital raise, and a rapidly professionalising back office. What we don't yet have is a fully built-out people function to match that ambition.

That's where you come in. The role We're looking for a seasoned HR professional to help us build the systems that let a 30-store business behave like a 100-store one. This is a hands-on, builder role — you'll be designing and implementing, not just advising from the sidelines.

You'll work directly with the founder and our HR Manager to put proper foundations under hiring, performance, compliance and culture across our stores, central production kitchen, and corporate team. What you'll own Building HR policy, the employee handbook, and SOPs fit for a multi-location F&B business Recruitment frameworks and processes across store crew, production, training and corporate roles Performance management — KPI scorecards, appraisal cycles, and structured PIPs Partnering with our Head of Training on onboarding and ramp programmes Statutory compliance — PF, ESI, gratuity, Shops & Establishments, labour law Compensation structuring and variable-pay design Org design across our franchise and company-owned model, plus retention and engagement in a high-turnover industry What we're looking for 8–12+ years in HR, ideally with F&B, QSR, hospitality or multi-location retail exposure A track record of standing up people systems in a growth-stage company — you've done this where the answer wasn't already written down Strong command of Indian labour law and statutory compliance Comfortable being hands-on: you'll build the spreadsheet, run the interview, and write the policy Chennai-based or able to work primarily from Chennai
