Human Resources Administrator 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

The Role:


As the range of projects that we work on grow, so does our team!


We are currently looking to hire an HR Administrator to join our HR team at our coastal office in Weymouth. Do you love working in a fun, forward-thinking environment? Then join us at ASMPT!

As our HR Administrator, you will provide administrative and coordination support across a wide range of HR activities, including HR administration and Early Careers coordination.



You will:


  • Maintain programme records, tracking milestones and producing reports.
  • Support learning and development activities for student cohorts.
  • Organise and support careers fairs, STEM events and outreach activities.
  • Coordinate work experience placements and acting as a key point of contact for participants and managers.
  • Administer apprenticeship programmes and liaising with training providers.
  • Coordinate placement and graduate programmes, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement and ongoing support.
  • Assist early Careers Coordination
  • Assist with HR reports, metrics and management information.
  • Support onboarding and induction activities, and processing promotions, transfers and leavers.
  • Maintain employee records and ensuring HR systems are accurate and people are paid correctly.
  • Provide administrative support for employee relations, performance management and absence management processes.
  • Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters and employee correspondence.
  • HR Administration.


About You:


We're looking for an organised, proactive and people-focused individual who is keen to develop their career in Human Resources.


This opportunity may be of interest to candidates who:


  • Hold a degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or a related discipline; or
  • Have previous experience working in an HR Administrator or similar administrative role and are looking to further develop their HR knowledge, skills and career.

  • Be comfortable using a variety of technology.


Previous experience within HR administration, recruitment, employee lifecycle administration, apprenticeship coordination or a customer-service-focused administrative role would be advantageous, but we're equally keen to hear from candidates with the right attitude, enthusiasm and commitment to developing a career in HR.
