Job Description Job Description Sea Hawk Maritime Position: Human Resources Manager / Office Manager Location: Largo, FL Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM About Us Sea Hawk Maritime is a Florida-based dredging contractor providing services throughout the Gulf Coast and East Coast regions. The company primarily supports projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), delivering high-quality marine construction and dredging solutions.

Position Overview Sea Hawk Maritime is seeking a Human Resources Manager / Office Manager to oversee all human resources functions while managing daily office operations. This role is critical in supporting the company's continued growth by ensuring efficient HR processes, fostering a positive workplace culture, and maintaining compliance with all applicable employment regulations.
Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a seamless and professional experience Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations , addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive work environment Maintain accurate and compliant employee records and HR documentation Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements Support recruitment and hiring efforts , including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination Administer employee benefits and assist with payroll coordination Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Assist with performance management , including evaluations and disciplinary processes Oversee general office operations , administrative functions, and vendor coordination Support leadership with HR-related reporting and organizational initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in Human Resources , with management or supervisory responsibilities Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment law compliance Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills High level of discretion and ability to manage confidential information Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems Experience in construction, maritime, or government contracting environments is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary commensurate with experience Professional and collaborative work environment Opportunity to contribute to a growing, reputable organization Long-term career growth potential Paid time off 401k with company match Job Posted by ApplicantPro
