Artemis Human Capitalis delighted to be partnering with an established and successful Northern Ireland organisation as they seek to appoint an HR Administrator to join their People team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their HR career within a busy and varied environment. Working closely with managers across the organisation, youll gain exposure to a broad range of HR activity and play an important role in ensuring employees and managers receive a responsive and professional HR service.
The Role
No two days will look the same. Youll provide day-to-day HR support across a multi-site operation, combining core HR administration with the opportunity to become involved in recruitment, employee relations and wider people matters.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
- Providing practical HR support and guidance to managers across the business
- Preparing employment documentation and supporting pre-employment and right-to-work processes
- Coordinating HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle
- Supporting recruitment processes across a variety of roles
- Assisting with absence management and longer-term sickness cases
- Supporting managers with employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, attendance and flexible working
- Maintaining accurate and confidential employee information
- Responding to day-to-day HR queries and ensuring policies and processes are applied consistently
About You
Were keen to speak with candidates who enjoy working in a busy, people-focused environment and are comfortable managing a varied workload.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience within HR, People or a closely related environment
- A good understanding of employment legislation and HR best practice
- Confidence communicating with and supporting managers
- Strong administration, organisation and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A relevant degree or third-level qualification, ideally within HR or business or qualified by experience
As the organisation operates from a number of locations across Northern Ireland, a full driving licence will be required and there will be occasional travel to other sites.
