Job Description

Hiring: Head of Department (HOD) – Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Location: Barasat Salary: Negotiable Experience: Ph.D. + 10+ Years Experience Role: Lead and manage the Computer Science & Engineering Department while ensuring academic excellence, research growth, industry collaboration, and compliance with AICTE, MAKAUT, NBA, and NAAC standards. Key Responsibilities: Provide academic, administrative, and strategic leadership to the CSE Department. Plan and monitor curriculum delivery, academic schedules, and departmental activities.

Supervise faculty members and ensure quality teaching-learning processes. Ensure compliance with AICTE, MAKAUT, NBA, NAAC, and other regulatory requirements. Promote research, publications, patents, funded projects, and consultancy activities.

Establish industry collaborations, internships, and placement opportunities. Monitor student performance, mentoring, and academic outcomes. Organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, hackathons, and technical events.

Prepare departmental reports, budgets, and accreditation documentation. Support admissions, student development, and institutional growth initiatives. Requirements: B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant specialization.

Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience. Strong leadership and academic administration experience. Proven record of research publications, accreditation activities, and faculty management.

Knowledge of AICTE, NBA, NAAC, and MAKAUT regulations. Key Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering.

Guide student projects, internships, dissertations, and research activities. Supervise Ph.D. scholars and mentor faculty members. Conduct high-quality research and publish papers in reputed journals and conferences.

Lead funded research projects, consultancy assignments, and innovation initiatives. Develop and update curriculum in line with emerging technologies and AICTE guidelines. Contribute to NBA, NAAC, AICTE, and University compliance activities.

Promote industry-academia collaboration and placement initiatives. Organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and technical events. Assist in academic planning and institutional development.

Requirements: B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or allied discipline with First Class. Ph.D. in relevant specialization. Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 5 years as Associate Professor OR 13 years overall experience.

Strong publication, patent, and research project record. Experience in curriculum development and accreditation processes. Hiring: Associate Professor – Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Location: Barasat Salary: Negotiable Experience: Ph.D. + 5+ Years Experience Role: Contribute to teaching, research, curriculum development, and departmental growth while mentoring students and junior faculty members.

Key Responsibilities: Teach core and advanced Computer Science & Engineering subjects. Guide undergraduate projects, internships, and research activities. Conduct and publish research in reputed journals and conferences.

Mentor Assistant Professors and support academic planning. Develop course materials, laboratory infrastructure, and curriculum. Participate in accreditation and quality assurance activities.

Organize workshops, seminars, FDPs, coding competitions, and industry interaction programs. Support admissions, placements, consultancy, and institutional development activities. Undertake academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the HOD and Principal.

Requirements: B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant specialization with First Class. Ph.D. in relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years teaching/research/industry experience, preferably with 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.

Strong research and publication record. Experience in curriculum development and academic administration. Hiring: Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Location: Barasat Salary: Negotiable Experience: 1–2 Years (Freshers with excellent academic background may apply) Role: Deliver quality education in Computer Science & Engineering, support research activities, and contribute to student development and departmental growth.

Key Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate engineering courses in Computer Science & Engineering. Prepare lesson plans, study materials, assignments, and assessment tools. Conduct laboratory sessions in programming, databases, networking, AI, machine learning, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and related areas.

Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records. Mentor students and provide academic guidance. Participate in research, publications, FDPs, workshops, and seminars.

Assist in curriculum development and laboratory management. Support accreditation and quality assurance initiatives. Contribute to admissions, student activities, and placement support programs.

Perform academic and administrative duties assigned by the HOD or Management. Requirements: B.E./B.Tech and M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Information Technology, AI & ML, Data Science, or allied disciplines. First Class or equivalent either in B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech.

Ph.D. desirable. Knowledge of Programming Languages, Data Structures, Algorithms, Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, Computer Networks, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and Emerging Technologies. Good communication, teaching, and mentoring skills.
