We are looking for several talented histotechnologists to be a part of their growing team on the Charleston campus. What We Are Offering: Openings on all shifts Hourly Rate: $31-$40/hr Depending on Experience Insurance Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental) Additional Benefits: PTO/Vacation/401K Position Overview: Under direct supervision the histotechnologist performs routine and complex histologic procedures in accordance with established procedures. Performs grossing, processing, embedding, microtomy, routine and special stains, immunohistochemistry, and frozen sectioning on human tissue to produce microscopic slides submitted for pathologists’ review. Performs quality control on completed slides.

Identifies problems that may affect diagnosis and results. Records observations from tests. Documents maintenance of instruments and equipment used in the lab.

Complies with established laboratory policies for universal precautions and safety. Candidate Profile: B.S. in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field Completion of accredited Histology program HTL (ASCP) required 1 years of experience as a Histotechnologist preferred About Us: At Lighthouse Lab Services, we offer solutions to help start, grow, and run clinical laboratories.
