Role Description: The Director of Sales is a full-time, on-site role based at Riverside Area. This position is responsible for leading all sales efforts, including developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities across corporate, group, and leisure segments. Day-to-day tasks include building relationships with clients, conducting site visits, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with revenue management and operations to maximize occupancy and rate.
The Director of Sales will oversee sales reporting, forecasting, and sales processes, while guiding and coaching the sales team to meet and exceed performance targets. The role also involves close coordination with marketing initiatives, participation in local networking events, and ongoing analysis of market trends and competitor activity.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Sales and Business Development, including prospecting, account management, and closing new business.
- Experience in Sales Operations, such as pipeline management, forecasting, reporting, and use of CRM tools.
- Strong Customer Service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships and ensuring high satisfaction.
- Proven Team Management abilities, including setting goals, coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Background in hospitality or hotel sales is highly beneficial, especially experience with airport or corporate markets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market data, develop competitive sales strategies, and adapt to changing demand patterns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced environment and engaging with guests, clients, and internal teams.
