HGV Class 1 Driver ADR

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.

This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to manage various driving tasks.

Will require up to two nights away per week, staying on secure truck stops.

Responsibilities Operate lorries in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring compliance with all road regulations.

Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

Load and unload cargo, securing it properly for transport.

Deliver goods to specified locations in a timely manner, maintaining communication with dispatch as needed.

Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle inspections.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lorry both inside and out.

Adhere to company policies regarding safety and customer service at all times.

Skills Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role.

Valid ADR (packages) licence.

Valid commercial driving licence with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type.

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism. xwwtmva
