Position Summary Responsible for order out, processing, underwriting, and funding tasks for Standalone Home Equity loans submitted by 1st Security Bank branches, Home Lending Loan Officers and through the online customer portal. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Promote positive attitude and provide exceptional customer service to customers and co-workers. Embraces 1SB Core Values.

Review credit applications and make underwriting decisions using the appropriate standards and limits as listed in the HELOC Loan Underwriting Guidelines. Perform all order out, processing, underwriting, closing and communications tasks associated with Home Equity loans within regulatory time constraints and restrictions. Maintain acceptable decision turn times to meet management, branch and customer expectations.

Communicate loan decisions, resolve issues with loan files, answer general lending and HELOC program questions, and serve our customers. Review Home Equity loan application packages, including income verification, credit reports, title, property inspections, valuations/appraisals, and other loan documents for accuracy and to identify exceptions to policy and guidelines. Approve loans within Loan Limit authority assigned by Sr.

Management. Collaborate with HELOC team to maintain effective and efficient policy and procedures. Ensure that all documentation standards and underwriting conditions have been met/noted.

Prepare and review for accuracy all HELOC loan documents, correspondence, etc., as required for each loan. Prepare the files for recording and funding. Prepare accurate DNA upload report and send to Loan Servicing for accurate boarding of the loan.

Possess the analytic skills and knowledge to work independently, making decisions without constant management oversight. Perform other duties as assigned. Benefits and Perks Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for individual or family plan.

Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED required Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred in a field that demonstrates strong analytical skills Proficient with credit analysis including analysis of applicant financials, tax returns, income verification, etc. Experience in reviewing property titles commitments, appraisals, and mortgage loan documentation. Knowledge of applicable regulations that pertain to this position, such as the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering policies, Military Lending Act, Reg.

B, Reg Z, and related procedures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service skills required for internal and external communications.

The ability to work in office at one of our approved locations; this is not a remote position. Computer Skills General skills with Microsoft Office products, ability to type 45+ WPM, and 10-key/computer experience.
