Heavy Equipment Mechanic - Drummonds, TN

NOTE: This position will be in Drummonds, TN - about 30 miles north of Memphis down US Hwy 51 SUMMARY OF POSITION: Supports operations in installs, repairs and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment. Locates sources of problems by inspecting, observing and knowledge and completes needed repairs in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics to determine issues with equipment Perform mechanical repairs as needed Maintain sanitation and housekeeping in work area Additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work overtime during the week or on weekends. Strong oral and written communication skills. Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a dry, sometimes dusty environment . The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
