Head of Marketing

We are looking foran experienced and commercially focused Head of Marketing to lead the development and execution of a global marketing strategy for a highly respected British luxury sailing yacht brand.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for strengthening the brand's market position, driving customer engagement and supporting commercial growth across international markets.

Working closely with Sales, Design, Aftersales and the Senior Leadership Team, you will lead an established marketing function and oversee integrated activity spanning digital, PR, social media, content, events, partnerships and international boat shows.

Key Responsibilities of Marketing Manager Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy aligned with business objectives, revenue targets and long-term growth plans. Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to ensure marketing activity supports wider commercial objectives. Lead global marketing campaigns, product launches and customer communications, ensuring consistent and compelling brand messaging. Develop targeted marketing initiatives to promote the company's products and service offerings and identify opportunities to generate additional revenue. Conduct market research and customer analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities and changing customer expectations. Protect and evolve the brand identity across digital, PR, print, events, partnerships and other customer touchpoints. Develop compelling content strategies that showcase yachts, design, performance, sailing adventures, owner experiences and lifestyle. Oversee digital marketing, website performance, SEO, social media, paid media and CRM activity. Lead PR strategy and build strong relationships with marine, luxury, lifestyle and international media. Oversee international boat shows, private viewings, owner events and relevant lifestyle experiences. Identify and develop strategic partnerships with influencers, marine media and complementary luxury brands. Lead, inspire and develop the marketing team, creating a creative, collaborative and commercially focused culture. Work closely with Sales, Design and Aftersales to deliver a seamless customer journey and maximise commercial opportunities. Manage external agencies, suppliers and creative partners, ensuring high standards of delivery and value for investment. Establish and monitor marketing KPIs, campaign performance and return on investment. Manage the global marketing budget in line with business priorities and commercial objectives. About You

We are looking for a senior marketing professional who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for premium brands and the marine sector.

You will ideally have:

Proven leadership experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within the marine, luxury, lifestyle or premium consumer sectors. A strong understanding of brand positioning, storytelling, audience segmentation and customer lifecycle management. Demonstrable experience developing and delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns. An understanding of the luxury marine market and high-net-worth customer audiences. Experience working across international markets and positioning high-value products or services. Strong digital marketing, analytics and CRM experience. Experience with HubSpot or a similar CRM platform would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder, relationship and project management abilities. A commercially focused approach, with the ability to demonstrate marketing impact and ROI. Experience managing, developing and motivating high-performing teams. Excellent strategic thinking, attention to detail and decision-making skills. A creative, confident and influential approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. A genuine passion for sailing, yachting or the wider marine industry. Qualifications & Experience Degree educated or equivalent professional experience. CIM qualification desirable. Experience with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform desirable. Significant senior-level marketing experience within a relevant industry. Must have the full rights to work in the UK Must be able to travel to work in Southampton
