Job Description

FOR EVERY BODY, EVERY BUSINESS, EVERYWHERE.

Shape the marketing direction of a respected British brand, lead a talented team and take ownership of a broad commercial remit.

Better Placed is partnering with Brook Taverner to appoint a Head of Marketing for its Corporate division at an important stage in the business’s continued growth.

Brook Taverner has been helping customers make the right impression since 1912. Today, it is Europe’s largest supplier of stock supported corporate clothing and a respected retail menswear brand, built on quality, service and value.

This is a hands on leadership role covering brand, ecommerce, digital campaigns, creative production, website performance and team management. It offers the scope to set direction while staying close to delivery, with visible impact across both B2B and end user audiences.

The Role

  • Develop and deliver the Corporate marketing strategy in line with wider business goals
  • Plan and manage multi channel campaigns across digital, email, social media and paid advertising
  • Lead, manage and develop the marketing team, setting clear priorities and maintaining delivery
  • Strengthen the Brook Taverner brand across B2B and end user audiences
  • Manage and improve the Shopify website, customer journey, SEO, UX and conversion performance
  • Create and oversee content across social, website, email, advertising, brochures and catalogues
  • Use AI tools to improve visual production, product imagery, photography and campaign delivery
  • Work closely with sales, product, supply chain and external developers to support commercial priorities
  • Analyse traffic, conversion, ROAS and customer acquisition data, using the insight to identify growth opportunities

About you

  • You will be an experienced Marketing Manager or senior marketer who can combine commercial thinking, creative judgement and practical delivery.
  • Experience leading or managing a marketing team
  • Strong digital marketing and ecommerce knowledge, ideally including Shopify
  • Experience across social media, paid advertising, email and content
  • Confidence using AI tools for visual content, photography, content creation or automation
  • The ability to balance strategy with hands on delivery across several projects
  • Strong organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong eye for brand presentation and creative quality
  • Experience in retail, fashion, lifestyle or ecommerce would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of SEO, email marketing platforms, Adobe Creative Suite or Canva would be useful, while photography or videography skills would be an additional advantage.

This role offers genuine ownership, the opportunity to influence the brand’s longer term direction and the chance to make a measurable commercial impact within a well established, growing business.
