Head of Engineering

We are seeking a dedicated Head of Engineering to join our team at our Rogerstone Meals site, which is a long-standing and respected site, known for producing premium "Ready Meals" for high-profile retail partners including Marks & Spencer. Responsibilities Lead and develop the engineering strategy, focusing on proactive rather than reactive measures. Oversee effective Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules.

Collaborate with operations and NPD teams to introduce new products. Manage the CAPEX plan for the site. Ensure the smooth operation of typical FMCG machinery, including conveyors and fabrication facilities.

Qualifications Extensive experience in engineering within a similar manufacturing environment. Strong SLT experience in Engineering, ideally as the Site Engineering Lead/Manager. Strong technical background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams. Comfortable with fabrication and buildings maintenance. Ideally, experience within a similar-sized business or operation within FMCG or Food Manufacturing.
