Job Description

The Youth Sport Trust is the UK’s leading children’s charity dedicated to improving the education and development of every child through play and sport. Our mission is to equip educators and empower young people to build a brighter future for every child.

Working closely with our Chief Brand Officer, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated campaigns and marketing activity that brings our brand and mission to life and engages audiences across the UK.

You will lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team, overseeing integrated campaigns across digital, social media, PR, email, content and other channels. You will lead the delivery of our flagship National School Sports Week campaign, use insight and performance data to inform our approach, and work collaboratively across the organisation to ensure our campaigns and marketing activity support our strategic priorities. This reflects the breadth of responsibility within the role, including campaign planning, performance reporting, resource management and cross-organisational delivery.

We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications leader with a strong track record of developing and delivering successful multi-channel campaigns. You will combine strategic thinking with effective delivery, be confident leading and developing others, and have the ability to build strong relationships and influence senior stakeholders. You will also bring strong financial awareness and be comfortable using insight, data and performance measures to inform decisions and maximise impact.

These areas align closely with the experience set out in the person specification.

Ready to join?

At the Youth Sport Trust you will join a forward-thinking, purpose-driven team committed to improving young lives. Our values underpin everything we do, and we pride ourselves on a work culture which fosters innovation, creativity and personal passion.

Benefits include generous annual leave entitlement, health cash plan, employee assistance programme and volunteering days.

If you are motivated by purpose, skilled at turning strategy into action, and eager to amplify a cause that makes a real difference to children across the UK, we’d love to hear from you.
