Head of Global Business Development (USA or EU based) Global Regulatory Partners Inc. (GRP) is a globally active, fast‑growing regulatory and market‑access consulting firm headquartered in Massachusetts that partners with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life science companies to enable successful market entry and lifecycle management across international markets. The company provides integrated services, including local representation (MAH), clinical trial support, regulatory strategy and submissions, health authority engagement, and importation solutions. Operating in a dynamic, high‑growth environment, GRP continuously delivers innovative solutions to complex regulatory and commercial challenges worldwide.
The Head of Global Business Development will play a critical leadership role in driving global revenue growth, building a scalable sales pipeline, and expanding GRP’s client portfolio across key regions and therapeutic areas. Responsibilities Define and execute GRP’s global business development strategy. Identify priority markets (US, Europe, Japan, Korea, LATAM) and client segments (pharma, biotech, MedTech).
Develop go‑to‑market plans that align with company objectives. Build and manage a structured global pipeline. Own the full sales cycle – lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, closure.
Maintain accurate Salesforce tracking and forecasting; ensure pipeline visibility and reporting to leadership. Drive revenue by identifying opportunities, leading client engagements, and closing strategic deals. Lead complex commercial activities, including discovery meetings, solution positioning, proposal development, and pricing strategy.
Establish strategic partnerships with CROs / CDMOs, distributors, biotech companies, investors, and innovation hubs; build partner‑driven deal pipelines. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key pharma/biotech clients and strategic accounts, acting as senior commercial contact. Execute go‑to‑market campaigns – industry conferences, targeted outreach, webinars, and presentations – working with internal teams to position GRP services.
Structure GRP offerings into scalable solutions such as regulatory strategy packages, MAH services, and radiopharmaceutical solutions. Collaborate with regulatory, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure feasible proposals, pricing alignment, and delivery. Monitor competitors, market trends, and client needs; translate insights into commercial strategies.
Track and report key performance indicators – pipeline value, conversion rate, revenue growth, sales‑cycle duration – to executive leadership. Key Tasks Review and prioritize the pipeline weekly. Lead client calls and negotiations.
Approve proposals and pricing. Maintain Salesforce pipeline accuracy. Coordinate business‑development activities across regions.
Identify and pursue new business leads. Develop partnership opportunities. Support proposal and contract finalization.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business or Life Sciences (MBA preferred). 10–15 years of business‑development experience in pharma, biotech, CRO, or regulatory consulting. Proven track record of building pipelines, closing deals, and driving revenue growth. Strong negotiation and deal‑closing expertise; experience selling B2B services with complex, high‑value deals.
Understanding of regulatory affairs, clinical development, and market‑access/MAH models. CRM experience, preferably Salesforce; strong analytical and reporting skills. Strategic thinking, cross‑functional collaboration, and executive communication skills.

Reporting The Head of Global Business Development reports to the CEO and works closely with the leadership team. Compensation & Incentive Structure Base salary: $170,000 – $190,000 per annum (USD), adjusted for experience and background.
