Requirements

This job position requires a mandatory National Security Clearance. Candidates must meet the essential NATO security requirements to be eligible for certification:

• Nationality: Active citizenship of a NATO member state.
• Background Check: Clean criminal record and a clean financial/legal history.
• Vetting Authorization: Formal consent to personal, professional and security background vetting.

SUPPORT PROTOCOL: Gaman will actively assist the selected candidate throughout the vetting process and fully cover all associated costs. Please note that obtaining and holding this security clearance is a strict requirement for contract signature and onboarding.

01 / Objective & Overview

Drives strategic commercial growth and institutional capture for Gaman worldwide. Focuses on securing high-value defense procurement contracts, commercial space partnerships, and institutional funding lines (ESA, EDA, European Defence Fund). Maps complex defense ecosystems, identifies target multi-million-euro programs, orchestrates consortia formations, and commands the end-to-end bid management process for competitive government tenders.

02 // BASE FORMATION

• MSc in Aerospace Engineering, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
• Specialized training in government procurement cycles, public tender laws, and complex defense negotiations
• Fluent in English and Portuguese, with a working command of a third European language being highly advantageous

03 / Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years of international business development or capture management experience in the aerospace, satellite, or defense sectors
• Proven history of winning competitive tenders with institutional bodies like the European Space Agency (ESA) or defense ministries
• Extensive active network within the European defense sector, defense attaches, and tier-1 aerospace primes
