Job Overview Hardware Engineer – Vancouver, Canada (Job ID: 48427) Responsibilities Analyze embedded device performance, including power consumption, RF efficiency, and robustness. Participate in the design and development of new hardware products – electrical, PCB, and RF design. Develop firmware, including low‑level drivers, board support packages (BSPs), and higher‑level device functionality.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities: prepare manufacturing documentation, qualify manufacturing processes and tools. Prepare test samples and support regulatory certification activities. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. 1‑3 years of experience as an electrical engineer in embedded product development. 1‑3 years of electrical design experience, preferably for wireless, low‑power RF products.
Experience with firmware development of low‑level drivers (I2C, SPI, BLE stack control). Experience preparing product documentation for regulatory certifications, focusing on RF and EMC testing. Work Environment Office‑based in Vancouver, Canada, 40 hours per week.
