Job Overview Employer: Amazon.com Services LLC Position: Hardware Dev Engr II (Reliability Engineer) Location: Nashville, TN Multiple Positions Available. Responsibilities Conceive and design innovative consumer products and drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and test. Perform test validation of next generation devices. Identify and validate product risks and work with design teams to mitigate them. Define test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability. Execute experimental design and testing. Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms for products under development and products in the field. (40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $111,500 - $160,000) Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Material Science, Physics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. One year of experience in performing reliability engineering for consumer electronics; utilizing reliability statistics or tests; and an understanding of consumer electronics to influence design for reliability.
