Gym Plus Naas is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our Aquatic Academy. We take pride in delivering high-quality swimming lessons that prioritise safety while ensuring a fun and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and structured swimming lessons to a variety of age groups, focusing on swimming technique, development, and water safety.
• Create a fun, positive, and safe learning environment for all participants.
• Assess and monitor swimmers’ progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Adapt lessons to meet the individual needs and abilities of swimmers.
• Work collaboratively with the Aquatic Academy team to maintain the high standards of our swimming programmes.

Essential Qualifications

• STA, IWS, Swim Ireland, or another recognised swimming teaching qualification.
• Strong swimming ability, with the capability to obtain a lifeguard qualification.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Previous experience teaching swimming to children and/or adults.
• Experience teaching Parent & Toddler swimming classes is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, enthusiastic, and patient approach to teaching.
• A strong commitment to promoting water safety and building swimmers’ confidence in the water.

Job Details

• Job Type: Part-time, Permanent
• Hours: 12-16 hours per week
• Schedule: 3 afternoons, 4 hours per day
• Work Location: In person
• Salary: Dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience
