Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Analyst to join an international project within the insurance domain. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technical experts to analyze requirements, support solution design, and contribute to the successful implementation and enhancement of Guidewire-based solutions, with a particular focus on Guidewire PolicyCenter.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and objectives
  • Analyze and support insurance policy administration processes within Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Translate requirements into clear functional specifications and user stories
  • Work closely with development, testing, and architecture teams throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support solution design and ensure alignment with business expectations, particularly for PolicyCenter-related functionalities
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement clarification sessions
  • Participate in testing activities, including test case reviews and user acceptance testing support
  • Support enhancements, implementations, and change requests within the Guidewire PolicyCenter environment
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend best practices
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure requirements traceability
  • Support stakeholders during implementation and change management activities

Requirements

  • Experience working on Guidewire projects, preferably with Guidewire PolicyCenter
  • Hands‑on experience analyzing or supporting PolicyCenter business processes and functionalities
  • Understanding of insurance business processes and policy administration systems
  • Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Professional working proficiency in English

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, upgrades, or transformation projects
  • Knowledge of integration processes and APIs
  • Experience with UML, BPMN, or other modeling techniques
  • Guidewire certification(s)
