Turn “we should do this” into shipped workflows. What You’ll Actually Do (aka The Fun Stuff) Growth Engineering & Automation Build end-to-end growth machines: lead gen → outreach → follow-ups → CRM → reporting Stitch together CRMs, email tools, databases, AI models, analytics using: APIs scripts automation platforms Replace bloated SaaS tools with lean, custom-built workflows Automate things people still do manually (because… why?) Engineering-Led Marketing Write Python / JS to automate marketing ops Build internal dashboards, trackers, and growth tools Run experiments like an engineer: hypotheses, metrics, iterations, Optimize funnels based on data, not vibes AI, Agents & Mad Experiments Play with LLMs beyond prompting Build AI-powered workflows for: content generation personalization outreach analysis Prototype agents, chains, and automations Break tools. Rebuild them better.

Constantly test what’s new, weird, and powerful Portfolio Chaos (the good kind) You’ll work across multiple SaaS companies to: boost demand gen reduce CAC with automation clean up messy marketing ops act as the central growth hacker-in-residence Who You Are (Be Honest) You probably: learned marketing by doing, not courses learned coding because tools annoyed you love experimenting more than planning break things (and fix them fast) don’t wait for perfect specs have side projects, bots, scripts, automations lying around You might have: hacked together lead scrapers automated cold outreach built AI tools “just to see if it works” replaced a SaaS tool with 200 lines of code shipped at 2 AM because you were “almost done” Must-Have Energy (Skills Matter, Mindset Matters More) You MUST: Think like an engineer Love growth & marketing Be hands-on with code Build workflows using APIs, scripts, automation tools Actually use AI, not just talk about it Work independently without hand-holding Solve problems from first principles Tools You’ve Probably Touched (or Will Quickly) (Not mandatory, just familiar vibes) Code: Python, JavaScript Automation: Zapier, Make, n8n, custom scripts Stuff to connect: CRMs, email tools, analytics AI: LLMs, agents, automation frameworks Attitude: “I’ll figure it out” If you don’t know a tool but can learn fast — we’re cool.
