Senior Software Test Engineer - Power Systems & Grid Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of a cloud-based grid modelling and power system analysis platform. The ideal candidate will have strong software testing expertise along with a solid understanding of power systems and grid integration concepts

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in engineering, energy, or analytical software.
• Strong experience testing web applications and cloud-based platforms.
• Understanding of electrical power systems, grid integration, and Renewable Energy (Solar/Wind/BESS).
• Experience with test automation frameworks and validating simulation or mathematical software.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
• Validate grid modelling features, power system calculations, and simulation outputs.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Perform API testing and cloud workflow validation.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes and electrical standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and power system engineers to deliver high-quality software.
