Graduate Trading Analyst

Action Renewables is excited to announce the recruitment for Graduate Trading Analyst.

The main requirements and responsibilities of the role:

As a Graduate Trading Analyst your tasks will be associated with the construction and execution of bids in the electricity markets; monitoring and reporting performance; and conducting analysis on market variables.

In this role, you will focus on trading activities for ARES Market Services Ltd as the electricity markets service division of Action Renewables.

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor's Degree in mathematics, economics, physics, data science or similar;

Strong quantitative and analytical skills:

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced trading environment:

Attention to detail in analysing data, preparing reports;

proactive approach to continuous learning and staying up to date on industry trends and best practices.

Desirable Criteria:

Additional certifications or coursework in energy markets, trading, or risk management;

Market Knowledge with some understanding of electricity markets and trading principles;

Familiarity with trading platforms, order management systems, and data analytics tools used in electricity trading;

Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and present findings to non-technical audiences;

Experience using software or programming languages (e.g. Excel, Python, etc.) and proficiency in statistical analysis and data modeling;

Experience with trading software, market data providers, and executing trades in real-time trading platforms is beneficial

Salary: £30,975.00 per annum
