GoAnywhere Development Consultant (Irving)

Role: GoAnywhere Development Consultant Location: Irving, TX (100% On-site) Compensation: $60.61/hr (W2) Duration: 6 Months Position Overview We are seeking a GoAnywhere Development Consultant with 5–10 years of experience to design and maintain secure file transfer workflows and automated projects. This role requires a technical expert who can develop within the GoAnywhere MFT platform while utilizing Shell scripting and SQL to ensure seamless data integration across Windows and Linux environments. Key Responsibilities * Project Development: Design and implement programs, jobs, and automated projects in GoAnywhere according to enterprise standards. * MFT Configuration: Create and maintain new configurations, projects, and managed file transfer jobs to support business-critical data movement. * Automation & Scripting: Utilize Shell scripting (Linux/Unix) to automate operational tasks and streamline file processing workflows. * System Integration: Apply SQL knowledge for data handling and integration between GoAnywhere and various database environments. * File Protocols: Manage secure file transfers using protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, and FTP, ensuring high security and reliability. * Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis, defect fixes, and enhancements for existing file transfer projects. * Cross-Platform Support: Administer workflows across both Windows and Linux operating systems.

Required Technical Skillset * 5+ Years of dedicated experience with GoAnywhere MFT. * Experience Level: Total 8–10 years in IT/Development roles. * Scripting: Proficient in Shell scripting for automation. * Operating Systems: Strong working knowledge of Linux and Windows. * Database: Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and integration. * Nice to Have: Familiarity with SAP Process Integration (PI).
