This is a global product and sub-segment manager role located in Felling, United Kingdom. This role is central to shaping the strategic direction and future of the global Yacht & Boat Production Build portfolio, supporting leading boat builders with coating solutions that combine quality, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.

What You’ll Actually Do

  • Strategic Direction: Define and execute the "where to play" and "how to win" strategies for the Yacht & Boat Production Build segment.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage the global product and service portfolio in line with market needs and business strategy, including new product introductions and lifecycle management.
  • Market & Value Development: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities, then develop differentiated value propositions and strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Project Leadership: Lead product and service development projects through the Stage-Gate process, partnering closely with R&D, operations, and procurement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams to ensure effective implementation of strategies and initiatives, driving delivery of revenue and profitability targets.

The Must-Haves

  • Background: A degree in Marketing or another related discipline; proven experience in strategic marketing and product management roles.
  • Experience: Experience working in commercial environments, ideally within the coatings or marine industry; experience managing cross-functional teams and complex global projects.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen and analytical skills; excellent interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder management skills; strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capability; strong communication and presentation skills in English.
