Procurement of international / cross-BU transport and logistics services for all MAHLE Business Units worldwide
Achieving savings and cost avoidance through negotiations with third-party providers
Generating savings and cost avoidance by defining concepts that leverage cross-BU synergies in logistics
Identifying opportunities and consolidating effects across global markets, suppliers, and business units
Reviewing key sourcing decisions
Defining supplier panels; ensuring the conclusion of framework agreements; participating in negotiations
Organizing regular meetings and communication with BU/plant/headquarters logistics functions to define requirements and strategies
Close collaboration with global logistics functions of all BUs/PCs in critical situations and escalations Your Experience & Qualifications
Successfully completed business-related degree,
Strong knowledge of logistics processes and markets in the area of transport, warehousing and logistics services
Strong expertise in logistics calculation and planning methods
Several years of experience in a comparable position or forwarder agency experience would be an additional advantage
Strong entrepreneurial mindset with focus on strategic solutions for the entire organization
Strong team player with excellent social and intercultural skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills, high goal orientation and ability to represent the company
Ability to act with integrity, inspire others, and promote personal responsibility
Fluent English skills (German would be an additional advantage)
