Work setting General office Responsibilities Conduct geohydrological programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping Conduct geological programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping Conduct geophysical programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping Conduct geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping Plan programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping to assist in the development of civil engineering projects Plan programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping to assist in the development of waste management projects Supervise technologists, technicians and other engineers and scientists Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects Supervision 5-10 people Credentials Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.
