They are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to help deliver a range of projects throughout the UK, across a variety of market sectors. Role Apply geotechnical engineering principles within a balance of office and site‑based opportunities Support the ground engineering team across various sectors in varied geotechnical activities such as ground investigation specification and management, earthworks and structures designs, and construction stage support Plan and supervise ground investigation Undertake geotechnical reporting Complete geotechnical design analysis and reports Prepare contract drawings, specifications and schedules in compliance with UK standards Requirements BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or BSc/MSc in Engineering Geology or Earth Science MSc in Geotechnical Engineering or a related applicable field is desirable Graduate Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers or Fellow of the Geological Society, currently working towards Chartered Engineer (IEng/CEng) / Geologist (CGeol) status A proven track record of working in geotechnical consultancy in the UK Relevant background, knowledge and skills of geotechnical engineering principals and practice Strong analytical skills and background of earthworks and structures detailed design analysis and specification of engineering solutions The ability to work independently and as part of a team The ability to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met Good problem solving/contingency planning skills with ability to find quick, innovative and practical engineering solutions Responsibility for your own personal development and ability to support the learning of others The ability to work collaboratively with others to form strong positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and contractors A clean driving licence and willingness to travel to sites and offices within the UK when required On offer Competitive salary Hybrid working Extensive benefits package Inclusive, collaborative culture with a focus on sustainability and innovation Opportunities to work on landmark UK and international projects Recognition and reward for leadership and technical excellence All Evan Craig vacancies require right to work in the UK. #J-18808-Ljbffr
