Job Description
We are currently seeking a Geotechnical Engineer with minimum of 3-5 years site experience to cover the Investigation Supervisor role.
The role will involve carrying out surveys on various sites from Walpole, Suffolk and in a line up to Grimsby. Travel and accommodation costs are covered.
Start beginning of September
Duration about 12 months
Location Grimsby to Walpole (and possibly other GGP schemes)
Project is to investigate the ground conditions for a new power line corridor
Scope of work:
Supervision of Ground Investigation comprising boreholes for wider GGP scheme including access roads, pylon locations, river crossings and other infrastructure part of the enabling works.
Ensure GI Contractor is carrying out GI as per client specification.
Daily site log of works undertaken
Report back to client Geotech/Water about progress, geology and groundwater.
Instruct installation details to GI Contractor following liaison with client.
