Generative AI Engineer

Job Title: Generative Ai Engineer Skills: Generative AI, python Agentic Ai Experience: 6- 15 Years Location: Update here Notice Period: Only Immediate Joiners Coforge is looking for a Generative AI Python Lead / Principal Specialist Engineer with 6+ years of experience to design, build, and scale Traditional AI/ML and Generative AI solutions . The role demands strong architecture-level thinking, hands-on development, and technical leadership across GenAI initiatives. The candidate should have deep expertise in Python, statistics, large-scale data processing, and cloud-based AI services , along with a proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade GenAI solutions.

Technical Skills: • Total Experience: 6+ years overall, with extensive hands-on experience designing and deploying AI/ML and Generative AI solutions using industry tools, platforms, and Azure Cognitive Services • 4+ years of deep hands-on experience in data collection, data mining, preprocessing, and analysis of large-scale structured and unstructured datasets • Strong expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs, LSTMs, BERT, Transformer-based models) capable of complex reasoning, few‑shot and zero‑shot learning , and Chain-of-Thought (CoT) prompting • Proven experience in architecting, building, customizing, and fine‑tuning LLMs using GenAI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex AI for scalable PoCs and production systems • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with Generative AI technologies and enterprise GenAI use cases • Advanced proficiency with LLM orchestration and application frameworks: Hugging Face Transformers LangChain LlamaIndex OpenAI API / Azure OpenAI • Strong expertise in prompt engineering, embeddings, model fine-tuning, evaluation, and guardrails • Deep knowledge of vector databases and semantic search technologies such as FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search • 6+ years of professional Python development experience , with strong mastery of: Python design patterns Asynchronous programming Performance optimization Scalable backend architectures • Hands-on experience building production‑grade REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask • Strong experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and MLOps workflows • Exposure to Java or .NET is an added advantage • Extensive experience applying classical and advanced machine learning algorithms end‑to‑end • Strong background in Data Science and Data Engineering , leveraging both open-source frameworks and cloud-native AI/ML platforms , especially Azure Machine Learning and Azure Cognitive Services • Deep understanding of Azure Cognitive Services such as Vision, Speech, Language, Decision, and Search , including real-world implementation patterns • Expertise across completions, embeddings, fine-tuning, transcriptions, translations, moderation, and evaluation for LLMs on Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or GCP Vertex • Must have successfully delivered 3–5+ enterprise-scale GenAI projects using Azure OpenAI / Bedrock / Vertex AI • Strong foundation in NLP and text representation techniques (n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis, topic modeling), statistics, and classification algorithms
