As part of our rapid expansion across the United States, with new locations planned, we are seeking experienced General Managers to join our growing team. This role is critical in establishing strong restaurant-level operations and building a solid foundation to support future growth.
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for overseeing all front-of-house and overall restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and consistent execution of brand standards. This role leads and develops the management and service teams, drives financial performance, and ensures smooth daily operations in partnership with ownership and leadership. Salary $100,000 - $125,000 annual salary Benefits Eligibility for the annual incentive plan based on individual and company performance Employer Contribution for individuals medical insurance 401(k) Plan with company match Paid Time Off Dining allowance Possible Locations: Pasadena, San Gabriel Valley, West Covina, Irvine, Garden Grove, Anaheim, Los Angeles County, Orange County Job Responsibilities Operations & Service Excellence Oversees all front-of-house operations to ensure service excellence, brand standards, and consistent daily execution.
Leads daily service execution, ensuring proper pacing, table turns, guest satisfaction, and smooth coordination between FOH and BOH. Upholds and enforces service standards, steps of service, and appearance guidelines. Executes opening and closing procedures, including pre-shift meetings and service walkthroughs.
Ensures safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained across all guest areas. Maintains thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including ingredients, allergens, and pairings. Collaborates with kitchen and bar leadership to ensure smooth communication, timing, and issue resolution.
Leadership, Culture & Team Development Leads by example, fostering a positive, professional, and guest-focused culture. Recruits, hires, trains, and develops FOH team members and supervisors. Provides ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to ensure high service standards.
Sets clear performance expectations and holds team members accountable to company goals and brand standards. Builds a strong leadership pipeline and supports internal promotion and development. Staffing, Scheduling & Training Creates and manages FOH schedules based on forecasted volume, labor targets, and special events.
Ensures appropriate staffing levels to support daily operations, peak periods, and events. Oversees onboarding and training programs to ensure service consistency and operational readiness. Aligns staffing strategy with business needs while maintaining labor efficiency.
Guest Experience & Special Events Tracks and responds to guest feedback to enhance overall satisfaction and loyalty. Supports VIP service, reservations, private dining, and special events in coordination with leadership. Ensures a consistently elevated and personalized guest experience.
Financial Management & Business Performance Manages budgets and reviews financial reports, including labor cost, revenue, and profitability metrics. Monitors and drives sales performance and profit improvement initiatives. Ensures compliance with accounting procedures and internal financial controls.
Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenue. Inventory, Ordering & Vendor Management Oversees inventory control, ordering, and cost management for FOH-related items. Manages vendor relationships to ensure quality products, timely delivery, and cost efficiency.
Ensures proper product availability to support seamless service execution. Qualifications 3+ years of management experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. Strong knowledge of brand standards, steps of service, and front-of-house operations.
Proven leadership skills with experience hiring, training, and developing service-driven teams. Ability to manage budgets and interpret financial statements (e.g., labor cost, P&L). Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Experience with POS systems, reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, Yelp), and scheduling software. ServSafe and local food handler certification preferred.
