General Manager - Nashville

We’re Yardstick, a boutique dog hotel in Nashville. Our suites-only concept aims to reimagine dog hospitality by offering more personalized care in a stress-free, elevated environment. We are seeking an experienced General Manager to join our leadership team and oversee one of our (soon-to-be) four locations in Nashville.

Responsibilities Manage team of ~12 employees (full and part-time), including upfront training and ongoing development. Scheduling and labor cost management. Customer relations and guest satisfaction.

Dog and employee safety. Facility management, including supply purchasing and maintenance of a clean/sanitary facility. Community outreach and events.

Work closely with CEO on business planning and process improvements. Requirements 5+ years of people management experience. Prior experience in the pet services industry preferred, but not required.

Available to work nights, weekends and holidays -- we are open 365 days a year. Excellent customer service and people skills. High integrity, trustworthy and dependable.
