General Manager — L'Imprimerie Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY About Us L'Imprimerie is a French-style bakery-café rooted in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We're known for our scratch-made baked goods and quality coffee, served in our café and delivered via Uber Eats, Grubhub, and DoorDash. We also supply a growing roster of wholesale clients. We're a tight-knit, food-driven team and we take serious pride in what we make. The Role We're looking for an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our operations across all channels including our café, delivery, and wholesale operations. This is a full leadership role: you'll own the day-to-day of the business, manage both our front-of-house and bake teams, and be the person who keeps everything running smoothly. You'll report directly to ownership and have real authority to shape how the business operates. This role requires someone who lives close to Bushwick. When something comes up, and it will, we need you to be there.

Responsibilities Team Leadership Hire, train, schedule, and manage a team of 10 –15 including baristas and bakers Support the bake team, ensuring production quality, staffing, and output meet daily demand Foster a positive, accountable, high-performance culture across both front of house and back of house teams Operations Own opening and closing procedures and ensure the café runs efficiently during all service hours, including weekends Manage facility maintenance and repairs, HVAC, plumbing, equipment, hiring vendors and following up to resolution Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with NYC DOH requirements Revenue Channels Oversee the in-store café experience and ensure consistent service quality Manage delivery app operations across Uber Eats, Grubhub, and DoorDash, including menu accuracy, order flow, and issue resolution Support wholesale client relationships, including order fulfillment, communication, and reliability Business Management Track and report on daily operations, flagging issues and opportunities to ownership Manage inventory and vendor relationships for supplies and ingredients Identify and implement improvements to workflows, costs, and customer experience What We're Looking For 3+ years of management experience at a bakery, café, or similar food-and-beverage operation Proven experience managing both front-of-house staff and a production or kitchen team Familiarity with delivery app platforms and/or wholesale food operations Strong communicator and natural problem-solver, calm under pressure, and decisive when it counts NYC Food Handler Certificate (or willingness to obtain quickly) Must live within a reasonable distance of Bushwick, Brooklyn Compensation & Benefits Salary: $75,000 – $82,000, commensurate with experience PTO and paid holidays Staff meals and employee discounts To Apply Send your resume and a brief note about your background with your application.
