Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned leader who can step into a growing manufacturing facility and implement sophisticated financial controls, sales strategies, and lean manufacturing principles. As the GM, you will own full P&L and have total oversight of manufacturing operations, engineering coordination, and sales channel optimization. Primary target areas: Financial Rigor: Auditing and correcting P&L ratios, managing inventory health, and tightening budget controls.
Sales Optimization: Modernizing our go-to-market strategy by optimizing our rep channels and distribution partnerships. Lean Transformation: Driving continuous improvement projects and making strategic capital investments to modernize our manufacturing floor. Who You Are Seasoned Business Pro: You have a proven track record of owning a P&L.
You don’t just read the numbers; you understand the levers behind inventory, labor, and margin. Sales Savvy: You understand the complexity of selling through independent reps and distributors. You know how to motivate a channel to win.
Operations Minded: You are at home on the shop floor. You speak the language of Lean, Six Sigma, and Engineering. Leader of People: You can manage a multi-functional team (140-150+) and lead them through change with empathy and clarity.
Qualifications Experience: 8+ years of progressive leadership in a manufacturing environment. Education: BS in Engineering, Business, or related field required; MBA preferred. Technical Skills: Deep experience in Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement and Rep Channel management.
