Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Lawrenceville, GA, responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations. This role includes managing day-to-day front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and breakfast operations to ensure high service standards, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance.
The General Manager will lead, train, and schedule team members, manage budgets and financial performance, and analyze key metrics such as occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR. They will oversee vendor relationships, inventory, and property upkeep, respond promptly to guest feedback and issues, and ensure adherence to safety, security, and regulatory requirements. The role also involves supporting local sales and marketing efforts, maintaining strong community and corporate relationships, and driving continuous improvement across the property.
Qualifications Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management, with responsibility for operations, guest services, and team leadership. Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and interpreting operational reports and performance metrics. Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, coach, schedule, and retain diverse teams, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and service recovery. Hands‑on approach to property standards, including housekeeping quality, maintenance coordination, and health and safety compliance. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS), basic office software, and standard reporting tools.
Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. Previous brand, select‑service, or limited‑service hotel experience in a supervisory or general manager role is strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
