General Manager

Fooq's Little River seeks an experienced General Manager to open and manager our, opening soon 200 + seat, indoor/outdoor restaurant/lounge/club in Miami's Little River neighborhood. Fooq's is part of the growing restaurant group, We All Gotta Eat! that includes Michelin-Star awarded restaurants Sushi Noz and Noz 17 and Noz Market in New York and Eleventh Street Pizza locations Joyn Studio, a Swedish design firm known for its work with many of the World’s 50 Best restaurants, is the interior design firm Fooq’s. The interiors will complement Fooq’s heritage, showcasing Middle Eastern and Moroccan influences with a contemporary nod, spanning across two floors, and include an outdoor lounge area.

The menu will continue to feature popular dishes, such as charcoal-grilled kebabs and Persian stews, paired with new creations inspired by our owners, David and Josh Foulquier’s upbringing and travels. Additionally, a comprehensive bar program will be part of the new location’s menu, expanding on its extensive (and returning) wine selection. Scheduled to open in the fall, will offer lunch, brunch, and dinner daily.

The venue, located at 150 NW 73rd Street, plans to feature entertainment on selected evenings in its second-level and outdoor lounge areas. Check out the forthcoming restaurant renderings below. Responsibilities include: Lead the FOH Management team and staff to ensure efficient, hospitable service for our guests.

Lead and manage cross functionally among FOH, culinary and beverage, admin teams and corporate support departments ,as required. Forecast and budget and meet/exceed all supplies and labor and operational costs. Hire, on-board, schedule, train and develop service and support staff.

Lead a cross functional relationship with FOH and BOH and Beverage teams to uphold overall standards, while ensuring high performance and profitability. Train staff on Company policies, service standards and compliance with DOH and DOL requirements Lead exceptional hospitality and service and inspire and initiate plans to develop profitable sales by upselling, developing loyalty and attracting new and special occasion business. Lead by example; act in a respectful and hospitable manner in all interactions, at all times.

Must have full-time availability, satisfactory references, and a proven history of success managing in a dynamic environment.
