Overview A rapidly growing industrial products organization is seeking a General Manager to lead one of its key business units. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and overall profitability across a distribution and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on leader with strong business acumen, capable of aligning strategy with execution while building and developing high‑performing teams.
Key Responsibilities Business Leadership & Strategy Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive revenue growth and improve profitability Own full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization Operations Management Oversee daily operations across distribution, warehouse, and office functions Ensure efficient inventory management, production coordination, and shipping activities Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and operational workflows Sales & Market Growth Partner with sales leadership to develop and implement regional and national growth strategies Support marketing initiatives, pricing strategies, and product positioning Monitor performance of sales channels and adjust strategy to meet targets Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop cross‑functional teams including operations, sales, and administrative staff Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee development Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work closely with corporate functions including finance, HR, procurement, and marketing Manage vendor relationships and ensure alignment with business objectives Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and product requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience) 7+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environment Proven track record of managing P&L and driving business growth Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills Experience overseeing operations, sales, and supply chain functions simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems Key Competencies Strategic thinking and execution Financial and operational leadership Problem‑solving and decision‑making Change management and process improvement Ability to lead in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
