Position Summary The General Manager (GM) is a key role responsible for driving Choura’s mission, vision, and core values throughout the organization. This individual will be tasked with developing and managing a high-performing team of event professionals, aligning sales and operations, and ensuring the company meets and exceeds both financial goals and customer expectations. As a strategic leader, the GM will put the right people in the right seats, cultivate operational excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration, integrity, and performance.

Core Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor and communicator to the CEO, consistently delivering clear insights on the company's operational and financial health. Lead decision‑making with a strong connection to Choura’s vision, mission, and values. Deeply understand and manage company financials—including budgeting, forecasting, and margin performance—to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals.

Uphold a principled decision‑making process that prioritizes long‑term success and organizational integrity. Essential Duties Maintain balance and alignment between sales and operations on a daily basis. Create and refine forecasting tools that emphasize high-margin opportunities.

Develop and enforce consistent pricing strategies across all sales teams. Closely monitor cost of goods sold (COGS) and revenue to maintain healthy profit margins. Drive growth strategies focused on key accounts and multi-year partnerships.

Build and sustain strong relationships with key customers through regular communication. Partner with the Director of Operations to recruit and retain high-performing field and warehouse teams. Collaborate with analysts to integrate real-time data into strategic decision‑making, especially when margins are at risk.

Engage in ongoing, honest dialogue with the CEO to maintain a pulse on team performance and morale. Lead internal initiatives to increase EBITDA and demonstrate return on investment. Serve as a brand ambassador in both professional and personal settings, representing Choura with professionalism and authenticity.

Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of relevant leadership experience. Visionary leadership with the ability to inspire and mobilize teams. Commitment to solutions‑oriented thinking and decisive action.

Proven experience in building and leading successful event or operations teams. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. Professional appearance and demeanor.
