General Manager Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to oversee and manage operations across various departments. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop budgets, set objectives, and ensure high levels of customer and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Develop budgets and ensure departments adhere to them.
Determine salary brackets. Generate reports and develop new revenue sources. Participate in developing policies and procedures.
Manage and direct overall operations. Participate in lead generation and business development. Hire, train, and terminate workers as needed in partnership with HR.
Oversee the documentation, implementation, and maintenance of the quality management system. Set objectives and goals, clearly communicating them, and generating and presenting reports to each department. Perform supervisory functions including personnel management, scheduling, and requisitioning.
Measure the success of each department and manage support staff. Monitor R&D and new projects. Assist with determining benefits programs.
Monitor inventory control and cash flow. Ensure high customer and client satisfaction. Monitor sales backlog and inventory control.
Direct and monitor employee morale programs. Use measuring and calibrated equipment. Promote the company's mission and values.
Understand and complete paperwork as assigned. Understand quality policies and procedures and safety rules. Perform other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills Proficiency in operations management and sales. Experience in lean manufacturing. Strong management skills.
Experience with manufacturing and warehouse operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree. 10+ years of experience in roles such as VP of Operations, VP of Sales and Ops, General Manager, or similar. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or a related industry. Management experience.
Knowledge of Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic Adobe software. Ability to lift and twist 50 lbs. Work Environment The work environment is less stressful and more relaxed, offering flexibility and a chance to communicate strategies with upper management for better control of revenue growth.
The role may involve visiting larger customers and diversifying strategies. Technologies used include DelMIA for injection molding and the Microsoft Suite for presentations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based in Beaverton, OR.
This is a fully onsite position. Pay And Benefits Pay range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year. 3 Weeks' Vacation. Work phone / plan provided.
After 60 days: Medical Insurance, Company paid Term Life Insurance policy $50,000, Supplemental Insurance โ Details provided upon request. After 90 days: Eligible for Holiday pay. After 1 year and 1000 hours worked, participation in NWRE 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan.
