Garbage Truck Driver

Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate a truck according to industrial and company standards.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Valid 3A or 1A drivers license.
• Acceptable driving record, as determined by management.
• Experience operating a 3-axle truck (in-city or short haul).
• Equipment skills a definite asset (mechanical and hydraulic).
• Understand the importance of safety regulations.
• Able to handle multiple tasks/demands.
• Motivated, enthusiastic and cooperative.
• Capable of working independently and with minimal supervision.
• Able to cope with stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers.
• Be available to work overtime as required as overtime will occur

Qualifications:
