Fund Operations Oversight Manager

Job DescriptionMain responsibilities Oversee day-to-day fund operations and ensure activities are completed accurately and within agreed timelines. Monitor operational processes, investigate exceptions and ensure issues are resolved promptly. Oversee key fund processes, including valuation, reconciliations, settlements, and cash management.

Manage relationships with internal teams and external service providers. Monitor service quality, performance and adherence to agreed service standards. Support operational governance, risk management and control activities.

Coordinate operational requirements for new products, fund changes and other business initiatives. Support regulatory and management reporting requirements. Contribute to business continuity, operational resilience and ongoing process improvement.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls and service delivery. Key Requirements Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related discipline. 7+ years experience in fund operations, asset management, financial services or a related environment. Strong understanding of fund operations, valuation, reconciliations and operational controls.

Experience working with or overseeing external service providers. Good understanding of operational risk, governance and control processes. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Strong Excel and reporting skills; experience with data, automation or process improvement tools is advantageous.
