Functional Analyst

Overview

As a Functional Analyst at Talan, you will shape risk-related solutions for financial institutions. You will translate business needs into functional specifications and validate risk calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your work supports market and counterparty risk projects in banking, in a global, technology-driven consulting environment.

This role offers exposure to data analysis, UAT, and impactful risk-driven transformations within a multinational context.

• Analyze and define functional requirements
• Translate business needs into functional specifications
• Perform data analysis and validate risk-related calculations and implemented solutions
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

• Strong knowledge of financial derivatives products
• Intermediate knowledge of Python and SQL
• Experience in market risk and/or counterparty risk banking projects
• At least 2 years of experience in technology projects within a financial institution (last 5 years)
