Functional Analyst

Here\'s a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you\'ll be able to do:

• Provide expertise in system analysis, design, testing and deployment;
• Collaborate with information technology professionals and business experts to implement new solutions that meet organizational needs and align with technological orientations;
• Act as an intermediary between business experts, technical teams and third-party vendors when required;
• Translate business needs and design concepts into detailed functional specifications in accordance with established standards and methodologies;
• Assess the feasibility of requests and estimate the effort required for the tasks and deliverables under his/her responsibility;
• Coordinate the development, testing and implementation of solutions;
• Provide operational support to production systems during business hours;
• Investigate incidents, diagnose problems, and implement appropriate fixes;
• Produce functional specifications for development teams or third-party vendors;
• Develop integration specifications and interface designs;
• Define functional testing and integration scenarios and cases;
• Prepare the data conversion specifications.

The profile you are looking for is as follows:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Be proficient in JIRA, Confluence as well as Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban;
• Possess a working knowledge of Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) principles;
• Excellent communication, writing, planning and coordination skills;
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (an asset);
• Have knowledge of Ellucian Banner ERP and its APIs (an asset);
• Master Zephyr Scale in JIRA for trial management and ServiceNow as an ITSM platform (an asset);
• Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet tight deadlines;
• Adopt a results-oriented approach and customer satisfaction;
• Demonstrate autonomy, initiative and ability to collaborate effectively with several multidisciplinary teams.
