Focus Systems is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (1879) to support enterprise web application development and modernization initiatives within a large agri-finance public sector environment. Key Details Location : Remote within Canada Contract: June 8, 2026 – March 31, 2027 (with possible extensions) Industry: Agri-finance / Public Sector Work Arrangement: Fully Remote Role Overview Reporting to the application development team, the Full Stack Developer will support the design, development, enhancement, testing, and support of enterprise web applications utilizing Microsoft Azure services and modern full-stack technologies.

The successful candidate will contribute to cloud-native application modernization initiatives while collaborating within Agile delivery teams to deliver scalable, secure, and responsive enterprise solutions. Key Responsibilities Build enterprise web applications using modern full-stack technologies Develop cloud-native PaaS applications using Microsoft Azure services Design and develop responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 12+, Angular 15+ responsive design practices Develop RESTful API services using ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core Implement NgRx state management where applicable Develop and maintain scalable application architectures Perform unit testing within Angular and .NET environments Monitor Azure Application Insights logs and resolve recurring issues and bugs Support authentication and authorization implementation for web and API solutions Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and business users Support source control, CI/CD, and deployment practices Participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning sessions, reviews, and collaboration activities Support continuous improvement and modernization initiatives Mandatory Qualifications Relevant post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum five (5) years of software development experience Experience building enterprise web applications using modern development technologies Experience building PaaS applications using Microsoft Azure services Experience developing applications using HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular 12+, NgRx Experience developing RESTful API services using ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core Experience implementing responsive design using Angular 15+ Experience performing unit testing in Angular and .NET environments Experience in monitoring Azure Application Insights error logs and resolving repeatable bugs Required Skills HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript expertise Strong Angular 12+ development experience ASP.NET Core and Entity Framework Core development experience REST API design and development Azure cloud application development experience Experience with Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code Unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting expertise Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration capabilities Experience working within Agile software delivery environments Preferred Experience & Assets Experience with NgRx state management Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code Experience with financial accounting systems or business processes Experience with Angular 12+ and newer framework versions Experience with Entity Framework Core 6+ Experience querying and analyzing Azure Application Insights data Experience implementing authentication and authorization for web and API applications Experience with Azure App Services (Web/API) Experience with Git version control Experience implementing OAuth2 authentication flows Application Deadline Please complete your initial application by May 24, 2026 , at 11:00 PM CST .
