Frontend Developer

Location: Leeds (1–2 days per month onsite) Rate: £500 per day (Inside IR35) Contract Length: Until end of March 2027 Overview We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support a high-impact digital programme within the NHS. This role will focus on building scalable, user-centric web applications that improve healthcare services and patient outcomes. You will be working as part of a cross-functional agile team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of modern front-end solutions.

Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality front-end applications using React and TypeScript Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences Integrate front-end components with AWS-hosted services and APIs Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and best practices Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement of the front-end stack Work within an agile environment, participating in ceremonies and sprint planning Essential Skills & Experience Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript Experience working with AWS services (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront) Proven experience delivering projects within the NHS or wider healthcare sector (must-have) Solid understanding of modern front-end architecture and best practices Experience working in agile delivery teams Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Desirable Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) Familiarity with NHS digital standards and governance Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Apply now or email [email protected] for more information.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
